With the continuous increase of China's casting output, the casting technology level of China's casting manufacturers has been greatly improved. Up to **, China has been able to independently produce large castings such as large water turbine, steam turbine and gas turbine, wind power and cylinder block and cylinder head of large engine, which have high quality requirements and complicated technology. At present, China produces 135 tons of ductile iron castings and 520 tons of steel castings. At present, more than 40 enterprises can produce castings of more than 30 tons per piece. The technology and equipment of some casting manufacturers are close to or reach the casting level, and the development level of the industry has also reached a new level. So far, under the environment of energy saving and emission reduction and global low carbon economy, the sustainable development of China's foundry industry still has a long way to go.
